Course Overview
Students will be able to demonstrate the basic steps involved in planting, growing, and harvesting a plant commodity, or in raising, growing, and finishing an animal commodity. Students will also be able to identify agricultural related career opportunities.
Why Should I Take This Course?
This course is designed to allow you to explore techniques used in plant growth or for animal production. Skills learned in this module can be applied to future studies and to help you, if you find yourself working in an agricultural career, such as producing a commodity for resale.
What Do I Need to Know Before I Start this Course?
For this course, you will be happy to know that there are no CTS prerequisites. However, working on a farm or having a background in agriculture will definitely aid you in your progress through this course.
