Having Trouble Opening a Google Doc?

Answer:

If you see a screen saying "You need access" or "Request Access," it usually means you are logged into your browser with a personal email instead of your school email.

The Quick Fix

  1. Look Up: Check the top right corner of your Google Chrome browser.

  2. The Switch: If you see your personal photo or a different email, click it and select Add or Sign In.

  3. Use the Right Key: Use your @nsaschool.ca email address and password.

  4. Refresh: Go back to Moodle and click the link again.

Answer:
  1. Click on your avatar or initals in the top right corner of a chrome browser
  2. Check what address you are logged in with (if any)
  3. If you are not logged in with you @nsaschool.ca or @ghsd75.ca address then click either:
    1. Sign in
    2. Add Account (if you are already signed into Chrome with a personal/other account.
  4. Add your @nsaschool.ca email address and password. 
  5. Click on the avatar or initials in the top right corner to verify that you are signed in with the correct account
  • Signing into Chrome with your school account allows you to access links and files shared by your teacher
